    Validity Pack or Recharge Plans:

Well, as all the operator, AirTel also has the same plans and packs for validity. Airtel validity packs are not different from other operators like Idea, Vodafone, BSNL etc. It is a monopoly and all the operator set the same plan price for validity. So, you can’t jump from one operator to other. Below, I have mentioned all the plans or packs for AirTel.You can check all the plans on Airtel official site at Smartpack section
If you look at the above plans, you will find that only 2 plans have more than 28 days validity. One is of Rs 145 and other is of Rs 245. Rest of the plans are of 28 days validity only. Well, different plans have different offers.
Plans Rs 95 or above it are offering 30p per minute on both Local + STD calls.
On recharge of Rs 55, you will get 60p per minute which is a little bit costly.
If you don’t use calling and SMS and also want a small balance for emergency calls and SMS then you can go for Rs 35 plan. In this plan, you will get Rs 26.66 Talk Time and 100MB of data also. This is the most basic plan which provides talk time with validity.
If you just want to activate your incoming calls and don’t want to spend on main balance then you have one more option. You can go for Rs 23 recharge. It will provide you just validity. No talk time neither data pack.

Guys, this is all because of JIO. After the arrival of JIO, all operator had faced many problems and huge losses. They lower their plan’s price to compete with JIO. They also increase their 4G services all across the nation.
Due to the lower 4G data pack, many people switch from 2G/3G to 4G. But still a large number of people left and they are still using 2G/3G mobile phones.
Most of them are just trying to keep the sim card active or using it for the only incoming purpose. As people are not doing recharges on their 2G/3G phone, companies suffer from a huge loss.

So, all telecom companies come up with a common solution. They introduce the idea of monthly validity. Now, people have to do recharge to keep their sim cards active. Now, without validity, your out going as well as incoming services will be stop.
