Saoirse Kennedy Hill’s Death Adds to Family’s Tragic History

The granddaughter of the killed government official Robert F. Kennedy passed on this week at age 22, adding to a progression of catastrophes the family has persevered. 

Saoirse Kennedy Hill kicked the bucket Thursday in Hyannis Port, Mass., as per the Cape and Islands District Attorney's Office. 

The Barnstable Police Department reacted to a report of a lethargic female at the Kennedy compound on Thursday evening, the head prosecutor's office said in an announcement. Experts later recognized the lady as Hill. 

She was taken from the storied waterfront property to Cape Cod Hospital, where she was articulated dead.

A few news sources have detailed that her demise may have been brought about by an overdose, however NPR has not affirmed those records. The Boston Globe, for instance, detailed that a chronicled police recording reported a call "for an overdose" at a similar road address. 

"The issue stays under scrutiny by Barnstable Police and State Police criminologists relegated to the District Attorney's Office," right hand head prosecutor Tara Miltimore said. 

A post-mortem examination performed Friday uncovered no injury conflicting with lifesaving measures, Miltimore said. "The reason and way of death are pending the toxicology report." 

In 2016, Hill genuinely depicted her sessions with melancholy, the disgrace and how educators and counsels didn't know about her inconveniences. In an announcement on Thursday, the Kennedy family said they were "broke" by Saoirse's abrupt passing. 

"Her life was loaded up with expectation, guarantee, and love," the family said. "She thought profoundly about loved ones, particularly her mom Courtney, her dad Paul, her stepmother Stephanie, and her grandma Ethel." 

Family authority Ethel Kennedy, 91, said Saoirse "lit up our lives with her affection, her chimes of giggling and her liberal soul." 

"Saoirse was enthusiastically moved by the reasons for human rights and ladies' strengthening and discovered extraordinary bliss in charitable effort, working close by indigenous networks to manufacture schools in Mexico," she proceeded. 

"The world is somewhat less excellent today," Ethel said. "We will love her and miss her eternity."
